Each one of us were touched in different ways after September 11th. On the one year anniversary of this horrible tragedy, I started this series on the search and rescue dogs at ground zero. The paintings are done in watercolor, acryllics, and oils.

All of the pictures are created from photos taken by FEMA photographers. All of these dogs did such a valuable job that I believe they deserve to be immortalized in art.
